This 16m² windbreak project in Ashburton combined warmth, architectural style, and functionality. Using the UDR 40 Series frame, specifically designed to span wide glass panels and support a thermal panel roof, the structure allowed for a light-filled yet insulated room perfect for year-round use. 24mm double-glazed safety glass provided excellent thermal performance, while the Jetmaster gas fire added ambience and comfort. A new concrete pad and professionally finished exterior plastering completed the fireplace enclosure, making the area feel fully integrated and elevated. The design allowed for seamless indoor-outdoor flow and created a dedicated space that feels like a natural extension of the home. Finished just in time for Christmas, the space now serves as a warm, welcoming hub for family gatherings in rain or shine.
