Garden Views All Year Round

This 20m² conservatory project reimagined a beautiful garden area into a functional, all-season space. Using the UDR 40 Series frame designed to support large glass spans and thermal panel roofing, the build allowed for generous light and insulation without sacrificing style. The design cleverly incorporated the homeowners’ existing concrete bench seating, enhancing connection with the garden while keeping construction efficient. 24mm double-glazed safety glass and fixed skylights filled the room with natural light. Sliding windows and doors gave Marg and Ken control over ventilation and access. Whether opened up to the breeze or closed off for warmth, the space adapts beautifully to the seasons. With just a 4-day install and a 6-week total turnaround, the result is a conservatory that feels like part of the original home; warm, bright, and made to be lived in.
